"The location was great for access to downtown SLO and the rooms are spacious. Nice amenities such as robes, slippers, water and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. One suggestion is to avoid room facing the pool. There’s some area not in the hotel that seems to play music most of the day and you can hear it. "

"Make sure to get a garden facing room, better view and air conditioning units of neighboring bldgs are noisy. Room layout/design was great, 2 great espresso places across the street and a stones throw from the Thursday Farmer's Mkt. Their gym has "like new" equipment and able to get an adequate workout. I like a firmer mattress, but that's me. "

The mattress was nice and soft, not a giant brick like some hotels, with VERY soft pillows, I needed to use 2 so my head didn’t sink down to the mattress. "Enjoyed our stay at Fireside Inn in Morro Bay. The facility was safe, comfortable and clean. The staff was delightful, helpful and friendly. We'd stay here again without any question. However, I would prefer NOT to stay in the same room abutting the electrical equipment room (104) which had a slight continuous buzzing noise from the buildings water heater system. It wasn't unpleasant just constant and it in fact didn't impair our great night of blissful sleep. We definitely would recommend...
