"Stayed in the annex building. It was amazing. I loved the area, property was clean, staff was incredibly helpful. Felt super safe. Breakfast was delicious although not included. But for 16 euro was not bad at all! Great restaurants and gelato nearby. Hotel is easy to find an easy to navigate."

"Pros
Good room size for the price.
Convenient location close to the bus station.
Helpful staff.
Decent breakfast buffet.
Cons
Bed bugs: We noticed something before going to sleep but were too tired to investigate further. The next morning, both my wife and I had insect bites on our bodies. Fortunately, the bites did not worsen, and we did not require medication, but the situation could have been much more serious.
Strong room fragrance: The rooms had a strong smell, possibly from the air...

"My stay was not bad, but it was not great. When I asked for more toilet paper the owner said I should have asked in the morning during housekeeping - which was not helpful and made me feel like it was my fault. My room felt like a college dorm room and was much more basic than expected. It is good for solo travellers on a budget. I could hear people in the apartment upstairs loudly talking on the phone into the night. It is called Venice rooms but it's actually in Mestre on the mainland, but it...

"About 1.2 km walk from the Venezia Mestre Central train station. Don't hang around this station and best to walk the 25 min to unit using Google Map. Or you can carry your luggage and catch the public bus No. 2, but be aware of pickpockets. I got my front pocket picked twice.
The unit is a shared room with secured lock and key. The apartment is well secured and will require vi key access to come in. I had to ring the host since I arrived at noon, three hours prior to check in. Lucky the host...
