"We enjoyed use of kitchen /dining space, which included tea, coffee, and proper dishes and utensils. We could store extra food in the refrigerator. The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking."

"It provides basic accommodation, which was all we required for an overnight stay, while walking the Great Glen Way. I would not choose the Ox for a longer stay, but the chalet was clean and reasonably well appointed and the staff were friendly."

"Quirky traditional Scottish hotel with the fun of a 5 minute Ferry ride to reach it. Really friendly staff. Rooms a little dated and tired but very clean. Bar and food were good and views down the Loch fantastic. Highly recommend"

"Rooms are very basic but clean and modern in facilities. WiFi and reception is appealing but understandable considering the stunning mountains all round the hotel. Perfect location for either fort William or for a pit stop to north Scotland Only down was an annoying green light that’s in most of the rooms we’ve stayed in. Get it’s maybe to point to the way out in a fire but it lights up the rooms like a firework at night, not very restful! Beds comfy however and would still recommend"

"The Corran was a very spacious , clean. And well appointed accommodation. To get to dinner we used the local ferry which was only a 2 min walk away and free for seniors. The ferry runs about every 10 mins and is very convenient. Breakfast food was available in the fridge and was good. We had a bit of a challenge with the obtaining the key from the lockbox beside the door but once we figured outvhoe it opened it was fine."
