"The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were good but could be cleaner as our garden facing balcony had some spiders webs. The amenities were excellent, we had a great experience at the spa on-site. The breakfast was delicious and they had many vegetarian options. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and looking forward to my next stay! "

"A real gem of a place, small but the beehouse villas are full of character. A great view of the ricefields and farmland. You can see the volcano from some areas of the property and enjoyed watching the sunrises from the balcony and listening to the wildlife awakening. The spa treatments were heavenly (and less expensive than at other resorts in Bali) and the spa staff delightful. The narrow road up to the hotel is in poor condition, so although we had our rental car, we chose not to go out in the dark. I would love to go back but probably just for a short stay because of the difficulty with the road"

"The breakfast selection is excellent. We stayed a few days at Alaya Resort. We appreciate that the hotel breakfast main course varies each day. The hotel staffs also accomodate the boxed breakfast which is very helpful for us as we had early morning departure on some days for our sightseeing tour. "

"The villas had a peaceful and opulent feel, with beautiful natural quiet surroundings. The staff were lovely and did everything needed. Location from the centre of Ubud is a little out, but worth it for the serenity you get that downtown Ubud now no longer has. Great for couples."
