Probably this is was my worst stay. We checked in at 4pm. When we came to our room - it wasn't ready and we had to wait for 30 minutes. We ordered a room with two beds (for me and my son) but instead we got a room with only one bed. The next day power on our room totally went out. Repair men were spent a whole day trying to fix this major problem. When they finally fixed a power we found out that Air Conditioner is NOT working. So. Half of the NEXT day repair men were trying to fix an air conditioner without any success, so we called to desk and requested a room change. They agreed to our request and asked us to be ready for pick up and transfer to a new room. We waited for 4!!! hours in a room, waiting for a transfer... Finally we got transferred to a new room, which had no problem, except one - staff mostly "forgot" to clean our room on a daily basis. How could all this happened? Iberostar Bavaro is a premium hotel. I was expecting at least a normal service, which we didn't receive at all. Very sad. Also. Please add more chairs near a pool. They were all occupied before 9:am. Our family was a loyal to your hotels in Dominican and Mexico (at least 15 stays in the last 15 years), but now we will think twice before we decided to go into any of your hotels again.
