"Tea Tahiti is within walking distance to the market, bus station and centre of town. Thankfully the taxi driver knew the property as it is located on a small side street off a main road and the property has no sign (that I could see) to indicate it is Tea Tahiti. There was some initial confusion about my booking but was pleased to be able to drop off my bag in the morning before reception closed for lunch. The room was clean but had not been renovated any time recently. It was OK for a one...

"This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. "An emergency booking due to a flight delay out of Tahiti so we would take anything. Family owners were extremely friendly and helped us out. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable bed."

We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All the food was prepared by our host from local ingredients mostly grown in their own garden. All the food was exceptional and the service, some from our hosts little girls, was delightful."
