Ocean view room is amazing!

Ninamu Pearl was perfect for our family. The ocean view room with plunge pool was such a beautiful and unique start to our trip on Tahiti. You definitely need a car for this accommodation as it’s up a steep road, but completely worth it for the view alone.

Serenity with views

This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience.

The plunge pool and views from the patio were amazing. It would have been nice to have toilet and shower inside unit and not outside with pool and patio. Also the barn doors to the bathroom area were not lockable so we did not feel our belongings were completely secure in our absence. Also these doors were not sealed so we dealt with a lot of mosquitoes.

The view is amazing.. the rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are not kidding about the drive up to their place. Wow! I did it late at night and thought for sure we were heading the wrong way.

Absolutely beautiful relaxing property for our last night waiting on a late flight. The pool and room was very clean. Cool air conditioning. They even packed our dinner to go that we ordered. The only issue we had was our little rental car had trouble getting up the steep drive up the mountain. The view at the top was Absolutely worth it. Parking was tight not a big deal. Loved this hotel, wish we would've had more time to stay longer.

Very good option for a day room

We wanted somewhere to spend the day after arriving early on a cruise and flying out only at 2345. Many hotels offered limited and expensive day pass options, or a night booking with check-in around 1400! This was a $40 taxi ride but a nice, simple but comfortable guest house with great views. Nice outside areas. Small pool. Our room was available by 1030, and was roomy and clean. Food was available from a limited menu. Friendly and helpful staff. Only negatives. A/C in the bedroom struggled in the heat of the day. Internet is not reliable away from the main hotel area. Watch out for the biting bugs as the sun goes down.

We had an evening on the island, coming from Moorea and decided to give this a try. Zero regrets! We aren’t in peak season, so the privacy and layout of the hotel felt like home rental.
