You have to walk about 2.5km to get to Tortuga Beach, but it is completely worth it. Very few people on the beach, but lots of iguanas everywhere. :) Strong currents, please follow the flags on the beach.

Lava Heron in the mangroves of Black Turtle Cove on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos. Our first panga ride and within just a few minutes we saw blue footed booby, lava heron, pelicans, and sea turtles... out of this world.
It's one of the best places to snorkeling in Galapagos Islands #blue
This male frigate bird had built his nest hoping to attract a female partner and now he is puffing up his chest to further attract one. I found my boat tour on line on this 95 foot schooner that is anchored in the distance----great value--great experience.
