"I stayed in the Wolf suite- BEST view on the island! It was dreamy… the restaurant smells were great and made me hungry… the restaurant itself,(not associated with the hotel) meh. "Wonderful establishment overall. Great made to order breakfast, good service and friendly staff. The requirement of a water taxi to get to the hotel while daunting at first, is not an issue at all as they are cheap and plentiful. Our room had a great ocean view. "This place is amazing!!! The staff was great and the amenities are top! The hot tub is open all day! Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel. We will definitely recommend it to friends. We stayed at the dock house and it was unbelievable, just make sure the propane tank for the hot tub is connected when you are checking in so when you are ready to use it, you can get it going no problem … otherwise dock house is the best "

"The Albemarle distinguishes itself in its attention to detail. Best shower I had in three weeks in Ecuador. Lots of hot water. Used books by the bed to read, board games...the list goes on. Plus the beachfront location is great with lots of bars and eating places within 5 min walk.Plus very attentive and helpful staff especially Samy at reception.
