"Pros: It was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was close to the central part of town. it was nice to sit out on the porch. Cons. (for us) There are no ammenities. It is not like staying in a hotel. There is no ice machine, food, bar, etc etc. ( there was a mini fridge) We stayed in the first floor room. The sink was starting to separate from the wall. The toilet was rocky. The enamel is starting to peel off the tub. If you are looking for a very quiet, restful place, it is good."

"The Hill is a hostel and from that perspective is a 5-star hostel. The property is clean and well maintained. It beautifully located within walking distance of food, night life, shopping and exploring. The bed was comfortable and roomy. Towels were provided and the shower and bathroom were clean. I would stay there again without hesitation. My host was Stephano and was very accommodating and helpful. This was my first time staying at a hostel in over 40 years and I was very impressed!"

"Was an okay-average stay. Room was clean and a good size. There was a lot of sand on the floor in the bathroom when we got there, which it’s on an island. The only thing that bothered me was the TV didn’t work at all, and the ceiling fan was broken. The staff didn’t really do anything about it. Other than that, a decent place to stay if you’re not looking for the bells and whistles experience."

"THE INN AT OLD HARBOR IS LOCATED NOT FAR FROM WHERE THE FERRY BRINGS PEOPLE TO BLOCK ISLAND, IT IS A OLD HOTEL WITH NO AMENITIES OR AIR CONDITIONING. THE STAFF ACCOMODATED ALL REQUESTS AND WERE VERY HELPFUL,"

"This was a very nice B&B in the heart of Newport, very close to shopping, bars, restaurants and the waterfront. We were there for the jazz festival and found it conveniently close for transportation."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Inn. The Inn and our room were beautiful, clean and cozy. Liz was super friendly and helpful, and no details were missed. We enjoyed the daily breakfast, snacks, boardgames, and hot tea in the afternoon! Close walking distance to the wharf - but im assuming the Hilltop name was a nod to thier location - it's uphill from the Wharf! Would highly recommend!"
