"Decent hotel near the seaside. The room features some unique wiring and an ultra-loud air conditioner, which couldn’t possibly be left on while in the room. But otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay in Sidney with many encounters with playful seals near the fish market!"

"Updates need to be done. Kitchen cabinets were falling apart, electrical outlets missing cover plates, light fixtures broken, floor under toilet sloped to side so much that seat would slide off the side of the bowl. This dump needs to be gutted and rebuilt."

"We loved our short stay at Bayview B&B! Juliette was communicative leading up to check-in, and we really enjoyed visiting with her during breakfast. She is a fantastic cook! Already looking forward to planning a longer stay here."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"Pros: beautiful view, delicious breakfast, nice big pool
Cons: wine cork on the room floor suggested it needed a better cleaning, room was 80 degrees and employee at reception gas lit me into thinking there was a ceiling fan, which there was not, other guests smoking on balconies
Wouldn't return or recommend for the price."
