"The property is super quaint with lovely touches. The best thing was the delicious English breakfast. It was so unique. Two years ago they had the best hot chocolate I have EVER tasted. Sadly, they didn’t have it this year. We were told they only have it during the hot chocolate festival which was held in January and February. We were confused because we were there in April last year as well as this year."

"The shower was terrible and one of the shower heads was broken. Some of the outlets had no power. Lots of dust around the room and the AC was not cleaned. Staff were nice and the bed was super comfy, however the towels were very rough. Overall it is decent for the price but I will probably pay for a nicer hotel next time."

"Would have been nice to know the pool and gym cost $50 to use. A hot tub after a cool round of golf would have been fantastic. Rolling in at 8 and being asked to pay $50 to hot tub for an hour is a tough pill to swallow "

"We had a club room with a harbour view which was great! The club lounge breakfast was still plentiful with enough choice but we found the evening choices lacking. Before there were at least 2-3 warm appies, veggies, salad etc. now there is only soup with one appetizers. The pool area, and hot tub were wonderful and the Lure lounge tasty but expensive. Still one of our favourite hotels in the harbour area"

"If you’re looking for a nice hotel in downtown Victoria, this is the place to stay. Newly renovated rooms super comfortable bed Nespresso machine a fridge. The staff are a fantastic and most have been there for 10+ years. The gym has everything you need while away. The pool was fun, but did have a very strong chlorine smell. We loved the happy hour pricing at the bar every day and the restaurant is great too."

"What an outstanding stay!! 5 stars and one of the very best experiences at a hotel we have ever had, and we are experienced travellers. It was our 40th anniversary and one of us had a milestone birthday as well, and we were treated like VIPs the entire stay, including a room upgrade. We shall remember this stay at the Oswego and how it made our trip so extra special. Keep up the first class service Oswego!!"

"This place is clean and the staff was very friendly. It was.a great location for us. 20 minutes to Victoria and 30 minutes to Sydney and Butchart Gardens. The food was good. The bar was OK. The TV stations were very limited. Hot tub and pool were great. The steam sauna would not stay hot."

"Apartment was spotless. Comfy bed. The washer and dryer were a key attraction mid vacation for us! They even provided detergent. Would suggest 2 things—add a grab bar in the shower, and replace the frosted glass front door with a steel security door. "
