Swimming pool was clean and safe . The only problem was mosquitoes we were unable to use the outside seating area with sadly all methods tried to minimise effect . "Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabins are clean and efficient and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons. The staff were very friendly to us non-French speaking folks. Our major disappointment was that, although a restaurant is on the premises, we found out when we checked in that it was already fully booked for dinner both nights of our stay. "Situated right next to the stunning beach it is the ideal place to stay when in Arcachon if you are looking for a beach oriented vacation or only want to spend a night and explore the area. Friendly staff, nice rooms , not too many amenities , underground parking available if needed."

"We had the nicest time at Hôtel des Dunes, and wish we could have stayed longer! Location was perfect – it felt like a secret hideaway, but easy short walking distance to restaurants, cafes, the dunes etc. We only stayed one night, but loved the simple but chic relaxed vibe, especially for drinks in the central courtyard in the evening. We had a few options for where to stay in Cap Ferret, and are so glad we made the right choice!"
