"We stayed in a twin room. While not large, it was as expected. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Air conditioning was very efficient. Great value for a comfortable stay where we didn’t intend on spending a lot of time in the room. "

"Much better than expected after reading the other reviews. By standards of Semporna, this hotel is very good. My room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff members were nice, but completely failed at the one thing people actually come to Semporna for - information about day trips to the nearby islands. It felt like I was the first person to ever ask them about going to Mabul or Mataking. To be fair all “sales” people in Semporna were like this so not just an issue in this hotel. "

"The airport transport was nearly one hour late... There instruction was to send me the license plate with no further comments. Another guy at the airport explained it to me and looked for my taxi. (the driver didn't get out of the car and helped me at all) At the hotel the gave me a rm which I couldn't log the door, due to the fact I was the only guest, I felt safe. In the evening the following day I recognized that somebody stole my money. The owner didn't care at all and wanted me to pay the dinner and transport. I told him that all my money were stolen and that breakfast and dinner is included. He didn't respond. The last night at this resort I felt very unsafe and unwelcomed. "

Not here Lato Lato is literally the best!!! THE BEST! Please undertand that Lato Lato is owned by local people, simple English or Malay will get you thru at ease . We had fun ,karaoke with the employees. embrace the lifestyle living on the water . it’s a big family vibe. Please only contact Lato Lato Resort via WhatsApp ONLY! (Due to language barrier) 1-2 day before your arrival to semporna , WhatsApp them to organise a boat to collect you from 7-Eleven Semporna with a price ( MYR 200/pp includes: Return boat rides island hopping 😍) it was such a good deal!!! Snorkels are also available to rent at MYR 10/ day from the resort. Note: Lato Lato does not serve beers, if you’re keen, please get some on the island to bring them with you. Bonus: a family of turtles living just below the resort . Ok not telling anymore , as we’re booking our next trip to Lato Lato. Bye "
