Staff is super responsive and helpful to get us shared mini van service from airport to hotel for 40rm per pax. The sound of rain is super loud the surrounding shops uses metal cover. Well located with nearby 7/11, massage and food.

amazing stay in semporna

All the staff was very friendly and polite and always there to help us with anything. The room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows, good AC. In the chaotic and dirty Semporna, CUBE was our little comfort safe clean zone.Also the wi-fi was working really good all the time which is a big plus. The guys at the hotel arranged the bus transfer for us from Tawau for a really good price and also a day trip to Tun Sakaran Marine park.

I had a seaview twin room. The room was immaculately clean, had enough space, was conveniently located, and although just above the busy waterfront, it wasn't noisy at all. I would definitely recommend paying extra for the seaview room, makes a lot of difference (as I had also stayed at a street facing room previously).

Cozy and clean rooms

Very cozy room and very clean. We really appreciate it when it's this clean. WiFi didn't work at all though and the bedlights or TV didn't work either which drops down the rating just a bit. Staff didn't understand much either when I asked about the internet but other than that the stay was really good. Perfect for a few nights.

Not the most soundproof place. As it’s on the same street with various bars and restaurants, be prepared to have live music permeating through the walls until 11pm. Besides that, the place is okay. Just the floor is not cleaned.

Served the purpose for what I needed it for, to go to Mabul. This place is actually ok however it’s super noisy due to the restaurants down stairs that seem to go for 24 hours. Also as they are all fish restaurants, the smell is just awful, which I could smell in the room. The staff weren’t particularly helpful for a hostel

Great place to stay for a quick stopover. Located next to all of the important places. It is really noisy in this area, but it was something I anticipated and brought earplugs. They worked great and I slept well!

Chambre étouffante et quartier peu engagean J’ai réservé une chambre sans fenêtre : elle est très petite et mal ventilée. Avec la chaleur, j’ai dû allumer la clim… Résultat : je suis tombé malade (nez bouché, rhume pendant plusieurs jours). Le quartier est sale et donne une impression de bidonville, ce qui peut être dérangeant. En revanche, le personnel était très serviable et la chambre propre, ce qui a un peu rattrapé le reste.

這是一間平假但是房間清潔的住宿，就在仙本那美食餐廳「肥媽餐廳」隔壁，離海邊海鮮市場很近傍晚漁船回港很多小販在此賣活海鮮，可以買來給附近餐廳代客料理每道30令吉。附近還有許多餐廳，或跳島一日遊行程的旅行社，床站也有賣跳島游價格便宜一點喔！ 這裡是前往住宿馬步島的中繼站，位置方便就在港口旁，回程到斗湖搭巴士就在加油站前聚集小巴，客人滿了就開車20令吉，方便！

Schöner Aufenthalt, gerne wieder :)

Vom CheckIn bis zum CheckOut hat alles bestens geklappt (4 Nächte). Wir haben uns für ein Doppelzimmer mit einem eigenen Bad entschieden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat uns bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen. Das Zimmer selbst war zwar klein, aber fein und es hat an nichts gemangelt. insgesamt ist das Hostel recht modern gehalten. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt vollkommen.

Clean and convenient but a bit overpriced

Clean, convenient location with aircon rooms. Great place for before/after island diving trips. Overpriced for what it was though. Bathroom was a bit dungeon-like. No lifts. Noisy late at night with all the shops closing up.

Noise because of other backpackers are loud, lots of Chinese. A boy even open the female dorm door and speak loud with the girl sleep my upper bed. they charge 2 RM tax and 50 RM deposit when arrival, and not provide towel. They have a balcony, but too small and just face the kitchen of restaurant. WiFi a little bit slow. But bed is comfort and I see staff change the sheets everyday. Breakfast have many choice, but time is limited 7:30 - 8:30. The hostel very close to jetty.

Horrible management and tour

DO NOT JOIN ANY TOUR FROM THEM!! we stayed with them for 2 nights. Everything was fine. But the last day we booked a tour with them which led us to police station because of incompetency of the management. Their boat is in terrible shape and the captain incompetent. All most ran aground in the sand banks. Finally arrived to the "island" but turned out it’s some private resort doesn’t allow us to get in. OK fine let's snorkel.. No equipment my size.. we have to go to another island to get equipment and lunch, then dive around below area.... the guides are part of the litter problem since they throw bottles/cigarette buds overboard.. The captain poured engine oil straight in to the ocean. Also we are sitting with the fuel dunks. Sad last day in this beautiful but over littered place.. but they only can blame themselves. After the lunch they sent us home separately. So we didn’t have any promised experience as we paid for. Then we have to talk to hotel staff where we paid. Before they cared anything else, they only claimed they don’t do refunds. And sent us to police station if we want to report. What a place.

Really good place to stay in Semporna (my boyfriend and I stayed in a double room)! Good location (really close to the jetty). Nice decor and very clean inside. The staff were very helpful and helped us to arrnage the transfer from Semporna to Tawau airport. If ever had to go back to Semporna, would definitely stay here again. One thing that I thought was a bit unusual is that the breakfast is only available between 8.30 and 9.30, so we’ve almost missed it.
