"Room was as expected, good size, bunk for teenager and enough room for the dog bed and dog to wonder round in. Room was reasonably clean, linen fresh and clean. Wifi struggled a little for 24hrs. Breakfast was plentiful, staff were lovely, nice touch in the room for the dog (treats). Would stay again."

"Great location just yards from the beach, as base for visiting nearby attractions such as bamburgh castle and Cragside. Rocky in parts but otherwise golden sand beach and again short walk to Seahouses. Just lovely seaside resort. Hotel staff friendly and food excellent with choice of dining room or lounge to relax. Would stay again."

"The property was ideally situated just a short walk from the shops and town centre. It was small but comfortable with everything needed for your stay. Even although the weather was cold at night, once the fire was on for a short time, the place became very cosy. The only issue would be parking near the property. I found a space in the nearby street. This was fine as it was still close. Being early in the season this might have been easy but perhaps during peak times it might be more tricky."

"Our stay at the links was more than expected, lovely clean, warm room, excellent bathroom facilities, very friendly reception staff, excellent location for local ammienties and exploring the local area, a great little cafe next door where you can get a tasty breakfast served by friendly staff.i would fully recommend a stay at the links,we will certainly be returning "

"Property is in an excellent position. It could be doing with a little bit of updating. Bedding and towels were of high quality and beds were comfortable. We were a part of 8 adults and apart from the large bedroom on the top floor the bedrooms were small. The property is more suitable for a family with children, Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, though they do state that. We did have a nice stay, "
