"From the moment I reserved a cabin, Ximena began communication with me, making sure I had links to complete entry paperwork for Easter Island and even arranging round-trip airport transfer for me (extra fee). This place was IMMACULATE. Ample towels, utensils and she even left a jug of water for me to use during my stay. "Tatiana goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great! There is no internet currently and only a communal television and kitchen. Although a no frills accommodation, Cabañas Makupuna makes up for it in quiet, peace, and tranquility. I most definitely would stay here again!!!!! "

"The two best things that make this place great is the location and the manager Rene. The hotel is right next to a restaurant called the "Polynesian Coffee and Bar" which has the best coffee and breakfast on the Island! Also Rene (manager) is an American and speaks prefect English so if your Spanish isnt the best then this is the palce to stay so he can give you advice on where to go and how to get there.
