"I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means."

"I really liked the room. Very clean and well maintained. What I DID NOT like was the $15 per day parking fee that was not disclosed to me until check in! I HATE HIDDEN FEES!"

"The property is very nice and well situated in town. Breakfast was nice and the bar next door was fun. While I understand it is old and maybe difficult to handle certain aspects, the musty smell and apparent mold in the bathroom was unpleasant. However maybe this isn’t the case in the newer rooms."
