Rooms were clean, staff was wonderful and friendly, views were AMAZING! Lots of whale watching from our balcony. Drinks were great! Bartender Adrian at the pool bar was a drink artist. Food was ok. Not much seasoning used, so it was pretty bland. Italian resturant was the best place for dinner, but we did end up having some wonderful food at a restaurant in the city center.

The staff were polite and the room kept clean. The food at the buffet was good but the restaurants not as good. The resort could be an excellent one if they use cones to restrict deep coat swimming and at night to use lights for the beach for night swimming (weather permitting) and beach shows.

This was truly the best vacation we have ever had. Everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely unreal — a huge variety, outstanding quality, and every meal felt special. A big thank you to the head chef and to everyone working in the restaurants and bars — your work made this experience unforgettable. The location is simply perfect. One of the most beautiful bays in Puerto Vallarta, with stunning views and a very peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were incredible — spacious, modern, extremely comfortable, and spotless. Everything was designed for relaxation and comfort. This place has it all: amazing food, exceptional service, breathtaking views, and unforgettable vibes. We will absolutely come back here again without a doubt. Highly recommended.

The room was nice and always clean. Good mattress’s and pillows. Staff bent over backwards to please us. Curtious, happy and VERY FRIENDLY. There are negatives. Very small property. No where to walk. Only around the pools. Sun doesn’t get to the only side you sit at until one or two in the afternoon. By that time it’s really hot. So that was bad. Not enough restaurant choices fir food better than the buffet. We ate in the Italian restaurant lots of times. It was the best good. A good place for families. Not sun lovers.

The resort is a little gem. The staff was friendly. The only issues I had were, the ATM was out of order, there was no currency exchange, and the worst was the loud music until 11pm every night. You can hear everything in the hallways and outside. There were plenty of things to do. We had a romantic dinner on the rooftop and it was perfect.

Please be ware that the room deals’ hotels.com have with them are certain type of rooms, ones with no views. If you want a view you have to upgrade it with a cost. The food was just okay, restaurants on property are decent enough, def not 4 or 5 stars dining. Breakfast was good probably the only meal we enjoyed. It seems that the hotel is always hosting outside parties, at least every night we were there, events were held. BUT if you’re looking for a decent place to stay with a nice private beach and unlimited alcohol this one is for you. Staffs are friendly.

We vacation with our 3 children. The staff and all their services were excellent. The pools were the perfect temperature. We loved the access to the beach. The entertainment group staff was amazing. Definitely will go back.

Overall we had a really nice stay at Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta. Our first room had some issues, but the manager was quick to help and moved us right away, which we really appreciated. The staff was very accommodating. The only thing I’d recommend improving is the kids’ pool—some parts were missing and uncovered, which could be unsafe. I mentioned it to staff and suggested either covering or removing them to avoid accidents.

BAD, BAD, BAD! I only put 5 stars so this review doesn’t get erased and people really get to know how horrible the service at this hotel is. *Restaurants suck! Wait is always over 1 hour and you can’t make a reservation. *pools are old and deep, deep. And only one entrance to pool. *snack bar personnel suck! They ignore people so they don’t have to serve you. *lobby staff are not organized. They gave our reserved rooms to someone else and kept saying they didn’t have anymore rooms. *Room service… always wrong, missing items, and they never have what the menu suggest. Only good things were the view, the beach is nice but strong and deep. (Not kid friendly) I also liked that they have a lot of activities and shows.
