"By far, OYO Rockssar was the best 2-star hotel we experienced in this 3 week trip in the Philippines from Iloilo to Cebu (OYO in Moalboal cancelled on us last minute so not impressed =(), to Panglao, Coron then back to Manila. "The service provided by front desk staff, Anthony was superb (5 star treatment). Anthony is a credit to your hotel. We were so warmly welcomed and then offered a local restaurant recommendation and reservation. We had a super early morning flight and a shuttle was no problem and it was only a 5 minute drive. "A property that is wrong…. But in a really good way. This is a newish (told one year old) property that is up to date with such a lot of things needed for a traveller. "The rooms are quite small but have a fan and an A/C and the bed is comfortable. The bathrooms are clean. I wouldn’t say it’s a social hostel but to relax and have a it of time for yourself it’s great. The owners are great: friendly and helpful. "Rooftop pool and bar very enjoyable. Rooms are very clean, mattress and bedding comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good with different options daily. "We loved this hotel! Great price, decent breakfast included, nice pool area and comfy bed. Good aircon, refillable drinking water and nice staff. Only criticism would be the curtains were quite thin so was very bright in the room, we had sleep masks so didn't bother us but something to think about upgrading maybe for other guests. "
