Transportation is available to get you near the resolt then you hoof it down an ungodly steep hill and then about 100 yrds down a dirt road. The ocean view is absolutely amazing and was enough to rate them overall a 3 until our last night when it seemed every rule was tossed aside to accommodate an 18 year old birtday party. Dj setup speakers right outside our room and had them blasting till 10 the at 12pm they decided to start singing Karaoke. We ended up leaving and going to a different hotel a couple miles away.

How is it a 4 Star hotel??? April Fools.

If you eat there, order food an hour before you want to eat. If you ask to have your room clean with new sheet n pillow case, make sure they don’t make your bed with the sheet you just slept on n your pillow case. That’s what they call “Redid your room”. Shower pressure is weak. Couldnt turn off the sink, so the water ran all nite n day. The shower was dirty from the people who stayed there before us so that told me they didn’t clean the room. It took an hour for them to make my daughter scramble eggs w tocilog. The nicest thing there was the pool, even thou it was dirty. I’m would NEVER recommend the hotel to anyone, even my worst enemy.

Nice hotel very close to the private & cozy beach

- The room is clean and spacious for 5 pax, but the bamboo bunk bed is creaky. - The toilet is clean too and the water heater is fine. - Aircon on the room we stayed works fine. - The food in El Canonero is excellent, especially the pizza (a MUST to try), we ordered 4 cheeses & Hawaiian, and we all agreed its better than branded pizzas here in Manila. Food in El Canonero is way better than food & pizza in adjacent Italian resto. We also tried El Canonero's Italian cuisine which is very good too, especially the pork tenderloin, Unfortunately, Italian beef is not avail during our stay. El Canonero's food & pizza is worth the extra budget & thanks for the 15% discount they gave us. - Pool is nice too but needs changing water during our stay - We visited the nearby White Beach which is too crowded for my taste, but here you can buy lots of souvenir t-shirts & items - Boating trip to Long Beach (a MUST to try) where sand is whiter and finer than in White, Aninuan & Talipanan beaches. Lots of corals & colorful fishes for snorkeling. Just bring extra cash to enjoy the other activities.
