"This is a lovely 'boutique hotel' in an absolutely beautiful part of the area north of Nakanojo near Lake Okushima. I wanted a truly Japanese place and I got it. Few, if any, 'foreigners' in the area. I was provided a bike and road around for 3 hours. The owner is a beautiful, kind lady and her and her staff treated me like a king. I had a room with a private hot spring pool - all I can say is "wow". If you want to see a place off the beaten track, I highly recommend this hotel."

"I have truly enjoyed my time at this hotel because it also had personal Onsens and public Onsens on site. I really enjoyed my Ryukan traditional Japanese room with a large amount of great amenities and I want to come to this place every time I come to Japan though I must let you know if you’re staying in Tokyo it takes about almost 3 hours outside of Tokyo, which you can catch the trains to get to.
