"This was a perfect little spot for me to spend one night since I was in town for a show at the Turlock Community Theater. It was going to be too late to drive back to the Bay Area. "I found the staff demonstrated over & above customer service..I felt comfortable snd safe. It’s a family place for a safe stay while you come & go.. the parking was well lit as well. I was traveling alone to attend a wedding and other families were coming & going to soccer games..with that said, it’s important families and people traveling alone feel comfortable and safe. "Pluses: Convenient. Easy to check in/out Everything you need Clean. Did a good job with breakfast. Negatives: Only suggest that if you have 4 people on reservations that you include 4 towels. Had to ask. We steered clear of the pool even though it looked nice just because of the sign which warns you to stay out if you have diarrhea. (If you have to tell people)..."

"No one mentioned the train the comes by at all hours of the night and blows its horn! Awful! The air conditioning was loud and we couldn’t keep it on. There was no phone, no Kleenex. There was ONE piece of soap for two people. The room, was clean! But I’ll never stay there again! Elsie, was nice but I guess she’s afraid we’d steal something because she requires a 50.00 deposit before you get your key! And she had to check the room before we left. Nope, we will never go back"

"Honestly, it was a very old looking property. Their rooms weren’t up-to-date. You could see worn out paint and it just looked worn out and dated it just looked like a low budget hotel because it was Wyndham. I felt secure, but if I could’ve canceled and got a refund, I would have and stayed someplace else. I won’t say there again. I took my girlfriend there and honestly, I was embarrassed as I said if I could’ve gotten a refund, I would have and if I had the money, I would’ve just left and paid...

"The tv didn’t work, the mini fridge didn’t work, they gave us no hand soap or any soap for body wash so you have to bring everything yourself, and they want you out at 10:30 am"

"Upon our arrival the receptionist was pleasant and friendly and the check-in process was straightforward. We were given the option of taking a ground floor room which was helpful as it meant that we could easily transport our luggage to our room. Parking was convenient to the hotel entrance. Although the hotel is located close to the Interstate, our room was quiet and had the usual amenities. "Great location--in the historic district and an easy walk to the Gallo Center for the Arts. Not too far (but far enough:-) from the freeway. Solid but not fancy... a good deal for the price."
