Room was OK, clean. However bed matress seen a better times. Too soft and out of shape. Breakfast was ok, good choice.
Terrible check-in. Came later evening, tired after a busy day.. while checking in i was asked to give my credit card authorisation as a safety measure to cover potentional minibar consumation. And if not, they wont check me in. WHAT THE HECK is that? This is just unacceptable in a 4 star hotel! Plus they charge you 595CZK (approx USD30) just for one night parking. That is just ridiculous.
Next morning during the checkout i complained to the hotel manager about my medicore check-in experience. At the beginning he played like the card hold is a normal safety measure, later he admitted that the desk clerk did not the best job and failed in communication. Later then I got my parking fee reimbursed as an excuse.
But no matter what, this kind of service is just unacceptable in this class of hotel. Stayed in many higher class hotels around the world and was never asked to pay a safety fee for a minibar consumation
