Very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. We checked in just after 5pm. The hotel car park reserved for hotel guests, were all full with non hotel guests who were parked there and spending the day at the seafront. The lobby were unable to help with the parking. It was a matter of tough luck! The front desk staff were hardly friendly or accommodating. All they wanted was payment upfront. That was it. We were given a city view room on the 9th floor. Room was dated, furniture was worn and scratched. The a/c was rickety and there were water drips from the ceiling. There was tea and coffee in the room but no cream or milk sachets. When we went to ask for milk or cream, we were told that we had to buy it. In the end I went to the bar and managed to get a small jug of milk. You can order coffee with milk but not tea with milk- you have to pay separately for the milk.
We were to attend a wedding the next day but there was no iron. We went to front desk and they could not find an iron. They said it was on the 3rd floor utility room, so we went there but no iron to be seen.
Bathroom shower tray was plastic and flexing, causing water to leak out to seep under the vinyl flooring. Clearly, it had been leaking a long time it was all heavily water stained and damp.
I do not think I would never recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. It was hard to see any gratitude from the management staff to guests staying at the hotel.
