"I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was cozy and comfortable, it's a very quiet area convenient to stores and food. There's a walking trail behind the hotel, and indoor pool. Staff was very friendly and eager to help at every turn. If I'm ever near Portland, MI again I'll definitely stay here."

"We got this room last minute. We did come in late at night but the staff wasn’t to helpful. Had the front desk closed off and not just late at night, but still in the morning at ten to nine. There was actually a fed ex guy there waiting for someone to take the package along with a couple other customers trying to figure out how to get a receipt for their stay. Kitchen set up would have been better if it had utensils and cookware. Fridge worked so that was the plus for us. It was not clean. Hair...

"Gary was very nice and helpful! I recommend contacting him for shuttle to and from the airport though since Google maps doesn't know how to find the house yet. I recommend coming here if you plan to stay for around a week since the sights are so pretty. My only critique is that I wish the bathtub was prepped for use but he wasn't expecting me to want to use it since we've entered the warmer season."

"My partner and I booked the accessible room and the bathroom was very accessible. Roll in shower, shower chair, wheelchair accessible sink, grab bars in the shower and near the toilet HOWEVER the bed was like 3 feet or more off the ground and we struggled to get up that high to get in bed. It was also hard as a rock. Just a word of caution for fellow disabled travelers!"

"Really out dated the shower was spilling water on to the floor the toilet took for Everet to fill up the tv was so old seems like when flat screen first came out"

"The property is older, the room smelled like piss and the first night the sheets needed to be changed right away due to pubic hairs and specks of blood on them. The staff were nice though."

"Bathroom tub was very stained, the hot water didn't work, and the phone didn't work to call the front desk. Our friend was in another room and their hot water also didn't work. They ended up going to another hotel. After waiting for a while at the front desk we finally got another room."

"The shower floor was as slippery as a hockey rink, with no curb, so water got out on the tile which made that slippery too. I was supposed to get a 6:00 AM wakeup call...that never occurred."

"There were several young adult sports teams stating at this hotel. Although it’s great to see young people out enjoying themselves, the hotel was noisy until quite late. Easy parking and access to various Lansing locations."

"Room was clean. Pool was closed for maintenance. Air conditioner caused flooding in the room. Was reported twice to management. There were no other rooms available. Management assured I would receive a credit. As of this time, no reimbursement."
