"The house was very clean and had everything needed for the weekend. The view off of the patio over looking the bay was beautiful. The only draw back is the entry onto the property is all dirt and a small down hill entry onto the property. I came on my Harley Davidson so the dirt hill that is not maintained was a slight challenge coming onto the property but other then that it was a great stay. "

"We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). "Room was clean and nicely decorated in vintage style. Shower 🚿 was excellent with rain water and plenty of hot water. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had parking for a few cars behind gate and secure parking in front. Included breakfast was very good at the attached cafe. Nice atmosphere as well. Would defiantly go back. "
