"We came to Alghero to celebrate our anniversary and had repeatedly tried to get a reservation at Mabrouk restaurant,(the Stanley Tucci) recommended from his CNN show but we couldn’t secure one on our own, but Chiara at the reception desk called and amazingly got us in for an 8pm seating! "Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Domomea. It's a good location for walking into town or for the beaches. The rooms were clean and spacious, and this was maintained during the week by the housekeeping team. The breakfast was really good and varied.There were some nice touches like reserving a table for 6 for us every morning, remembering our coffee orders,etc. Little attentions to detail like that you notice and appreciate. Overall, the staff at this hotel make the place shine, and it was such a great stay for us. Would recommend and stay again...."

"This was a beautiful and conveniently located hotel in Castelsardo. The breakfast was the best we had in Sardinia. Our room was recently renovated with updated charging ports which we appreciated. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely helpful staff, clean and tidy throughout, a good selection at the buffet breakfast and a nice pool area with fab views. We were 4 adults sharing 1 room and it was plenty big enough, including the bathroom. We had a sea view from our balcony which was great for sunrises and sunsets. It was particularly hot for time of year so aircon struggled a bit with the 4 of us in one room, but it was still bearable and the shutters on the balcony door really helped to keep the heat out during the day. The rest of the hotel was lovely and cool though, with spacious communal areas. The only negatives were the bed was not the most comfy, but this is a niggle as it was still possible to sleep ok, and the pool bar doesn't do proper snacks, just drinks, ice creams and crisps. But we did get some free crisps with our reasonably priced drinks and there's a lovely little supermarket with really helpful owners less than 10 minutes walk away. Access to the little beach directly across the road is closed for safety reasons but there is access to the sea a few tens of metres further down the road and also on the way into town. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would hesitate to stay again! "

"just 80 yards from the beach, the hotel has an excellent location. Either side and two excellent restaurants. The room is nicely laid out with a decent sized balcony. The shower worked well, although somewhat compact our laundry came in at 109 euros for a small load, therefore best not to use if possible superb swimming pool at 5th floor level "

"Great place, clean, 5 min walk to old town, parking for free on the streets next to hotel or 10 euros for private parking. Breakfast was excellent on rooftop "
