The stay in Catarina Serviced Apartments has been amazing and it was the highlight of our whole trip. Seven of us loved this modernized apartment: spacious space, clean rooms and beddings, luxurious kitchen, high quality mattress.....plus much more that surprised all of us.

Very close to the metro system which runs directly to the airport. The apartment was clean and had everything that we wanted. Just be aware that if you book a room with a sofa bed these rooms are road facing and you do hear the traffic. But it was not an issue and we were super happy with the apartment.

Amazing hotel

Everything was amazing at this hotel. My family and I really enjoyed the hotel and Daniela's service. The negative thing was about the boiler, which was not efficient for 4 persons. The water was not hot enough.

The apartment is very spacious, well equipped with good quality appliances, has a huge patio and separate bedroom. Two tv’s, dishwasher and nespresso coffee machine. Clean and super comfortable beds, clean towels nearly every day of our stay. It is also in a perfect location very close to the main attractions yet quiet at night. Daniella was incredibly helpful and very friendly. We loved this place and will surely book again if in Porto again. Recommended!

We chose these serviced apartments based on the many positive reviews—and the location truly is unbeatable. Our flat was new, bright and modern, just a short walk from all the main sights, restaurants, cafes, shopping in Porto. Check-in was handled smoothly by email when we arrived late on Friday. However, despite the “serviced” label, we never encountered any staff during our entire three-night stay. In the two months leading up to our trip I tried repeatedly to reach out by email, Instagram, and through Hotels.com with no response. Once we arrived, my friend and I called the provided phone numbers dozens of times over the weekend—nobody answered. On Monday morning we hoped someone would be at the desk so we could ask about storing our luggage (we didn’t fly until evening), but the reception was empty. We waited nearly 40 minutes, called, texted WhatsApp, even messaged Instagram before finally hearing back. The apartment itself was lovely, but the lack of any on-site support caused unnecessary stress and frustration. I’m perfectly fine with a self-check-in/out setup—but only if questions and issues can be answered quickly. The apartment itself was lovely, but the lack of communication created unnecessary frustration. If management can ensure clear, timely responses (even remotely) and provide checkout details in advance, this property would deserve its excellent reputation. Right now, you’ll get a wonderful space in a prime location—but be prepared to handle most self.

Communication Issues made it Stressful

The flat in itself was nice and well-designed. It was perfectly clean (except a few stains on the drawers in the kitchen) and we had a great time. However we had real communication problems (potentially due to the inoperational Hotels.com messaging system). We were told to contact the property 1 day in advance, and although we had sent messages 3 days and then 1 day in advance, we received no answer. The phone number for the hotel on Hotels.com was inaccurate, and we had to do a Google search to find the relevant number. We only received the information to access the keys a few hours before arrival. It was unnecessary stress. Also, the reception closed much earlier than the indicated times on Hotels.com

The room was very clean. Really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was communication. At the beginning we couldn’t get in to our unit due to the check in email didn’t come through to my phone. Tried contacting property by phone and email with no results for a very long time. Eventually the email came through and we were able to get into our unit. Over the next few days tried to get info and still no response. Eventually we talked to a cleaning lady who was very helpful and supplied the things we needed.

We have great relaxed time at the Caterina apartments. Very clean, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We stayed in a court yard view apartment and it wasn’t over looked. The shops and countless cafes and restaurants are all nearby. The metro and bus station isn’t far either. Great modern apartment and it provided a great base for a relaxed stay.

it was a terrible experience. When we arrived, we used the code to open the main door but failed. We tried to contact the property in all ways but nobody replied. it was raining heavily, we and another young couple were all waiting outside the apartment for almost 2 hours until a man helped us open the door. Another bad thing was when I took a shower, the water was getting colder. can't believe i had to take a cold shower in this price! the heating also didn't work!
