"Great, budget-friendly getaway! We had a quick getaway and really enjoyed our stay. Our corner room was clean and basic, but nice, quiet, and had a great, comfortable bed. The 24-hour coffee and tea service in the lobby was a wonderful perk! The hotel was busy due to its close proximity to Corpus, but it was still very easy to get to. The staff was incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. Best of all, the cost is very family-friendly. Highly recommend!"

"As soon as you walk in there’s a slight mildew smell. Our room was on the second floor and it was humid in the hallway. The room was clean but the rr had a slight sewer smell. The pool wasn’t clean enough and the hand rail walking in was loose and not bolted in the ground (hazardous). The breakfast was good and the overall stay was decent enough. Def need to maintain the place better."

"We’ve used this hotel nearly every month in the last year. Recently, the night staff confirmed payment had cleared and our room was available at 7am after a 24 hr shift. When my husband arrived at 7:30, the day staff said they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate him. However, I could see on Expedia that they had multiple rooms available. They indicated for $250 they could “find” a room even though we had already paid for. We won’t be staying at this facility ever again."

"It said this property was recently renovated. It was in the process of repainting and trying to upgrade carpets to vinyl. The TV didn’t work in the room. There were holes in the walls. The floorboards had gaps in both the seams and between the walls. The shower had gaps between the walls that were not caulked. The whole hotel had a strong odor of mildew and the AC being on compounded the problem."

"Pool area had reduced usage times and there was no hot tub as advertised. Staff on property were approachable but only going directly to and from property entrance. Property in general had obviously suffered significant storm or related damage at some point. Construction scaffolding substituted for stairways on beachfront side of 2 of 3 units. Advertised property exercise room evidently had been eliminated 2 or 3 years previously according to maintenance staff. Security entrance gate was...
