Rooms are great!!!

Great room...great sleep....will be back since we went to visit family. Shower was awesome! Front desk person was super nice. Coffee and danish was great. Pancake machine was not working so breakfast was not a big deal.

didn't like the stairs pulling away from the wall in the stairway, the 6hours we sat in the dark with water 4inches deep. the staff would not let us go to our room. need to take our meds. we stayed at the holiday inn on Sandhill Blvd Port Charlotte, Florida September 27&29th the night of the HURRICANE IAN.

Everything was fine, the pool was closed on the day we went so that was disappointing but other than that the room was good. The breakfast was okay, the eggs didn’t have much flavor. We had family that stayed at the Hampton right next door and it was a better experience, pool was open, food was tastier.

First I want to say with exception of day manager, the staff was absolutely wonderful! So very nice and kind!! Problems I had and did address with day manager who wasn’t very nice about my concerns. I had to have my room key reprogrammed everyday. I was told this was a chronic issue with room I was in and he was aware but did nothing to fix it. Coffeemaker did not work and I let them know everyday but nothing done til I actually took it to the desk. Had a relapcement for a day and that one worked but then the original was put back in and did not work and manager tried to argue with me about it. My safe had to be reprogrammed. It was a constant battle and exasperating, especially knowing these have been issues in the past and nothing done about it. Again, the remainder of the staff were fantastic people!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Port Charlotte for 4 nights while in town for a family emergency. It was nice to go back to the hotel where the front desk attendants were friendly and very helpful durning our stay. I would definitely stay at this property again when we come back into town.

The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. When I gave her my name, she welcomed me warmly and got me checked in right away. My room was clean and tidy and the king size bed was very comfortable. I’d stay in this hotel again and without hesitation.
