"We visited four very different parts of Italy and our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio may have been our favorite. One important thing to know that was a little tricky to figure out was that you check-in at “Casabella”. The property belonging to Fattoria Lavacchio includes multiple buildings spread along 1km or so of the road. "If you want to experience a more home like setting with welcoming host away from all the tourist this is the place for you! Beautiful farmhouse only 30 minutes outside of Florence. Home prepared meals with local or home grown produce on fine antique china. Overlooks mountains and Vineyards. Host cater to your preferences and very knowledgeable about area. "The property is BEAUTIFUL! The pools were perfect for our kids. The food and wine was great. The room was on the small side for 4 people but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room so it wasn’t a huge deal. Also the room could use a very good dusting. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
