"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "

"Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. "The hotel was great and the owner provided a fantastic breakfast each morning. Set in beautiful countryside with a lovely garden and swimming pool, it is a perfect place to relax. We stayed two nights and had a great time. Highly recommended!"

"Celine's property and lodging is just great, very comfortable room and bed, strong wifi, separate shower and toilette rooms en suite, and a very nice continental breakfast featuring Celine's brioche, yogurt, and confitures. Security is strong and parking is right outside the house. On top of all that, Celine is a very friendly host and is both accommodating and full of information about the area. We found her by accident, and we look forward to staying with her again."

"Boris made us very welcome. Our room was at the front of the house and was very quiet. There are lots of beautiful pieces around the house. Our room was tall, airy, air-conditioned and the bed was sublime. A great atmosphere that is created with beautiful antiques and contemporary comfort. The wine tour was very interesting - the charming Caroline knew her subject inside-out and spoke beautiful english."

"it was difficult to find (at night) . GPS was correctly leading to hotel, but it had no signs. Finally, we found it in an inside garden. very friendly welcome."

"Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Bordeaux centre. An ideal base for exploring the city on foot, close to many of the sights and endless cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. A special mention to the excellent reception staff who helped us book a *very* early taxi to the train station when our original train was cancelled. And even gave us a coffee to fuel us for the 4.30am start! We look forward to our next visit. "
