Sylvie et Sebastien and Carla were excellent hosts. We felt so welcomed. Sylvie and Carla met us the first day with coffee and tea. They sat down with us and made sure we knew how the tram worked and everything Bordeaux had to offer. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The room was clean and quite large. The bedding exceptional and bathroom very nice.

Sylvie is an amazing host, very welcoming and knowledgeable about Bordeaux and the surrounding areas. It was a pleasure to spend some time at Clos des Queyries. The property is beautifully renovated with a very quiet garden and very close to downtown Bordeaux.

Sebastian and Sylvie were excellent and highly professional hosts. The château is beautiful, spotless, and very well located. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was always friendly and welcoming. Everything was well maintained, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and charming. I highly recommend this place — 10/10. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Bordeaux.

Stayed for 3 nights in the top floor room with the spiral staircase. You enter the room and there are 2 chairs to enjoy sitting with the balcony open. The spiral staircase is unique and we loved it, just take your time up and down, that’s all. Bedroom, and bathing area are beautifully decorated. Bed is very comfortable. We had the best sleep, so quiet. The grounds are so well kept, you feel like you’re in a private park with a castle. The breakfast is incredible, homemade yogurts, fruit, croissants, fresh warm bread, fresh orange juice and cappuccinos. Now the owners Sylvie and Sebastian, the most kind, funny and hospitable couple we have met in our journey through France. We felt so taking care of down to every detail. We had a lovely dinner with a chef they brought in, delicious! We would recommend this place 100% if you’re staying or passing through Bordeaux. 5mins tram ride to historic centre. Don’t hesitate, book staying here, it’s wonderful.

Eine super tolle Unterkunft mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Das Frühstück ist auch wunderbar und die Tips was zu machen in Bordeaux, waren sehr hilfreich.

Owners are very nice and the property is beautiful. Our room was very nice and seemed recently renovated. Mix between bed and breakfast and a small hotel (in all the best ways)

First visit to Bordeaux

It was our first visit to Bordeaux and Sylvie and Sebastien were so helpful with guiding us how to travel, where to eat and what to see plus what to avoid which is a great help. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day. It showed difference between a hotel and Maison d'hote with the personal welcome.

Beautiful house and great hosts

Sylvie and Sebastien were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, made us feel very welcomed and almost like part of the family. The Clos is a beautiful building with a lovely garden, it's an oasis of peace with birds, a pond and beautiful nature. We only spent 2 nights here but would love to return. Thank you for hosting us!

Transcended the usual hotel experience elevating it to a level beyond. A jewel in all respects. An oasis of tranquility and luxurious augmented by a caring attentive and super professional staff happy to help in every way. The breakfast included the finest food some fresh from the garden. 10/10.

The staff was very attentive, the hosts were super gracious and nice. We stayed in the “honeymoon suite” and it was extremely uncomfortable and stressful. The bed is good, but it is on a second floor and the spiral staircase leading there is extremely narrow, windy, wobbly and steep. It is so dangerous. We could not bring a suitcase upstairs and had to go up and down those perilous steps many times. My husband is tall and athletic but it was too risky for him to climb up and down so I did most of the fetching. You really need to use two hands to ascend or descend safely. The worst part was when I discovered we were paying more than guests in other regular rooms. For $309 a night this was deeply disappointing. The description of this room on the site does not do justice to how challenging and unusual that situation is. When we got to our next destination -in a functional room - the stress melted away.

The room we were allocated had a narrow spiral staircase of 20 steps up to the bedroom. This was awkward to navigate especially with luggage and dangerous. In the case of fire it would have been near impossible to get down.

Wow! What a delightful stay! Sylvie and Sebastien are two of the nicest and most genuine people we have met in quite some time. The property is gorgeous, beds comfortable and parking our rental car inside made us feel very safe. The fresh orange juice is unforgettable along with their hospitality. Even when we checked out, their son helped me book a reservation when my phone wouldn't dial out. Thank you for this wonderful stay! Til next time! If you choose to stay here, you will not be sorry. What a Hidden Gem

What an experience! Sebastian and Sylvie could not have been accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We were so very well taken care of and as it is winter and we were the only ones staying that night, they showed us each of the unique 5 suites they offered. Each was welcoming, warm and well accoutermented with its own charm and appeal. The garden, in summer, would be an additional special place to enjoy, we expect to see that in our next stay. We were advised on transportation, restaurants and sights - all of which were spot on. Breakfast was also wonderful with homemade yogurt, jams, etc. and made to order beverages. Do not let the area, which may appear sketchy, trouble you w/secure parking inside. We could not feel more safe and comfortable in and around the property. We will most certainly be back when next in Bordeaux.

Sylvie et Sebastien furent des hôtes remarquables. L’accueil fût très chaleureux, la chambre était immense et impeccable. Le site est légèrement retiré du centre-ville mais avec le tramway à 2 pas on se rend où on le désire en claquant des doigts. Je recommande fortement cet endroit . Frédéric et Stéphanie

Just perfect.....

Amazing place to stay...The hosts Sylvie & Sebastian are so welcoming and helpful. Sylvie gave us a map & advised best places to see in our short time there and without her help we wouldn't have seen as much. The hotel was fantastic and our room was massive and immaculate. A bit out of the centre but only a few tram stops away. Bordeaux itself was beautiful and we plan to go back to see a bit more of it and we will definitely stay at this fabulous accommodation...
