Great find! Lovely location close to Noss Mayo, professional and happy staff, great food, we had a chicken and chorizo pasta special which was fabulous! Would stay again 😀
Excellent, friendly, helpful staff and good food. Room furnishings lovely - however room was very noisy from road, plumbing noise very time other rooms used water. Windows faced onto pavement but no screening for privacy. We did have a lovely breakfast regardless of lack of sleep.
Very cosy pub with delicious food. The room was big, comfy and immaculately clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Really good value too. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Plymouth.
Staff good, room good, food good, atmosphere pleasant. What more to say?

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Good location, bedrooms seperate to pub. Our room (4) quite small, tiny en suite, pleasant outlook. Very busy for meals, need to book. Food good but could be better, seemed too rushed.
This is a lovely hotel with separate rooms from the pub. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent as was the service. Yealmpton is conveniently located on the A379 although with my room being on the ground floor I had to keep the curtain closed and it was a little noisy at commuter time. The room however was large and very comfortable with access to outside patio spce
Nice staff, clean quarters lovely bathroom
No WiFi didn’t enquire though as it wasn’t required, next to road but didn’t really notice, excellent breakfast good choice available from 07:30, café Nespresso in room was great, decent TV

Very good and reasonable price. Clean. Lovely hot water. Good breakfast. Nice staff
Rooms were spotless, well equipped and fittings were of a high standard. Had an evening meal in the pub, which was fine although a little more choice would be good. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff were helpful and attentive throughout. 20 minute drive into Plymouth. Recommended for a weekend stay.
Lovely staff particularly Alice.
Friday evening had to book table as a very popular restaurant - if a little pricey - the main of a small fish pie £19.
Very comfortable bed and good size room. But no heating on either night of our stay, and it was very cold on Saturday night so after raising the issue with staff - extra blankets and heater provided, and fresh towels as towel rail not working either.
The room was perfect and immaculate. Great that they are in a separate building to the pub, so very quiet. The gardens are lovely too. Only slight negative was that there were two items missing from our breakfast, which we were only told after been given to us. The lady did ask if we wanted anything extra, but would have appreciated a bit of money taken off. We also ordered a coffee which never arrived.
