Staff and location to Plymouth State University was great. Sheets and pillows were clean and comfortable. It is an old motel but it was freshly painted and clean for the age of the property.

We were skeptical when we pulled up, as there were many people wandering around the units that looked shabby and permanently lived in, but we found our unit back behind the front building and found it to be quiet, clean and comfortable. A good stay!

Was as expected

Overall, the facility was what I was expecting for an inexpensive stay. People hanging around certain rooms, as if they live there, permanently. Though they were quiet and kept to themselves. I was annoyed because I wanted one of the beds changed, because of an odor. I mentioned it to the cleaner, yet it wasn’t done. Also, the bathroom door was closed when I entered the room. Upon opening the door, the room smelled of mildew. After running the bathroom fan for a while, either the odor went away or I became used to it. Beside these idiosyncrasies the stay was uneventful.

The neighboring rooms were being rented to long term people. Seemed like was housing homeless or people with addiction issues. People were smoking outside the rooms next to us and their ash trays had lots of cigarettes so they were there a while.

The lady at the front desk (owner/manager?) was quite friendly and accommodating. The property is very rundown. It desperately needs painting and refurbishing in general. The lighting is dismal, thus adding to the negative overall feel of the room. However, the bed was comfortable. It appears that this property serves both longterm and short-term guests, as there were indications that folks were living there (children’s toys, strollers, etc).

Felt like the movie Deliverance

Horrible, horrible....filthy room at back of property in the woods. People in front building doing car and motorcycle repairs at 10PM at night. Man at desk spoke no English, and was upset when I returned the room key and told him I was not staying. Really frightening place, did not feel safe at all....DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Hotels.com was wonderful!!!!!! They foound us another room in a lovely hotel nearby, and paid the difference--I love Hotels.com!!!!
