"Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided."

"Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by. Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for! No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door. Can hear pigeons outside and sounded like something was in the loft. "

"The room was tired and Amenities were poor. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Reception welcome was far from a welcome. The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight. "We booked the cottage and were so glad we did. The photos although good, don’t really do it justice. The bedroom opens out onto a spacious balcony with good quality wooden table and chairs. The view is very serene, as you can see the river. The hot tub is really amazing. It was very clean and we were shown how to use it properly. If anything it was a little hot at 40c. It kept this heat for several hours. Bathroom was beautiful. Living room immaculate. And a 2nd bathroom with toilet and shower....

"Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure!
