Royal & Imperial Belvedere Resort - All inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Food was unexpectedly great! Lots of tasty and diverse options on both breakfast and dinner. The grill station is to be avoided. The deserts chef is a genius!!"
Aquila Elounda Village Resort, Suites & Spa - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"It was very beautiful. The staff were wonderful and respectful. Location is great especially if you have a renter car. We were 10 minutes from lovely waterfront restaurants and the center of town. It is a quiet town. Itâs lighted up at night time. We will definitely be back."
Elounda Palm Hotel

"Fantastic stay, lovely staff, great breakfast buffet, great location and easy walk in to town or a quick cab. Very relaxing stay in beautiful grounds. Views from our room across the bay were amazing. Will definitely return."

"The most impressive was quality of food in buffet and the 3 restaurants. It's also perfect for families with kids. Cleaning was good, but missed some spots occasionally. The rooms are descent sized, comfy beds, bathroom was a bit small, but not a problem. What made stay great was that it was such a compact resort, but somehow they have "hidden the rooms" so it doesn't feel crowded. Beach is great, with plenty of chairs, pools the same. Amazing place for kids, as they kept meeting new friends, and parents could relax with a good overview pools and beach areas. Kids club had good opening hours and nice staff. Some staff members were excellent, some average, but they were all helpful with the kids. Food was beyond expectations. Top ingredients cooked very well. Exceptional value for money. What could be improved- Though most food was included, a couple of dishes needed extra payment. No roomservice was included in the Effortless package, but the ice cream shop was. There were 2 Wine lists, Effortless (all inc) + regular. The regular was available everywhere, the full effortless only in restaurants. In Bars only 3 wines, but all drinks included. Wine selection on effortless wine list could be improved, but a couple of good wines so no issues. Did not like shampoo and shower gel at all. Overall, for what we paid, we feel we received great value, our kid met so many new friends it was a great vacation for all. Will definitely be back."

"A solid stay for the price and we'd happily return. We arrived late due to a flight delay and messaged ahead to let them know, only to be told not to worry at all as reception is staffed 24/7, arrive whenever you arrive. The room was spotlessly clean throughout, as were the pools, which we noticed being cleaned every morning. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice and everything tasted nice. We didn't make use of the evening entertainment ourselves, but others did. The location was a real strength, quiet enough to get some sleep but a five minute walk or less to restaurants, the beach and shops. We had a hire car and never once struggled to find parking at the hotel. Two small criticisms, more observations than complaints. Housekeeping tended to knock around 8.30am each morning and there was no door hanger option to signal "do not disturb". With a young child and family members still asleep most mornings, we had to turn them away a few times, though I'm sure they'd come back later if we asked. The main point is that if we didn't answer the door they would have come in to clean, thinking we were out. We also found the beds on the firmer/less comfortable side. Other than that, Staff throughout were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and the location couldn't be better for the price, so would recommend."

"The staff is outstanding. Everybody is nice and you feel a wish to « go the extra mile ». You want something they donât have, the find a way. Absolutely no waiting time with the buggies as the staff are so numerous. We had such a lovely time. The resort is indeed kid friendly however the « adult zones » create a bit of a weird feeling and there are not a lot of animation like some resort. You donât go there for the animation, you go there for the extreme serenity provided by the beauty of the place. Tips: ask for a buggy tour around the hotel. You should see everything, views are outstanding!"

"We had a great experience at the Phaea Blue hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in virtually new condition. Food was excellent and the private beach, though pebbles (not sand) is very convenient. Wouldn't hesitate to return."
Alexander Beach Hotel & Village Resort
8/10 Good
"The hotel is nice and clean with some good restaurants and bars. The Lemongrass Asian restaurant is especially good for sushi. The staff are friendly. During our stay the majority of guests were either young families with small children or couples aged 60+ so there wasnât much of an atmosphere. The spa is good, however the staff had a very âhard sellâ approach when trying to get you to book treatments, which we felt slightly off putting. They also didnât have a price list and seemed to make them up on the spot. The resort the hotel is situated in has a lot on offer though, and the beaches are great."
