"The property and rooms were great. The only let down was that there was no front desk or anyone there to check you in. Myself and another guest were trying to check in and neither one of us could get a hold of anyone to tell us what room we were in. The house keeping staff was helpful in getting us to our rooms eventually but this was very frustrating to deal with."

"Stayed only 1 night but good location. The valet parking for $30/ day provides earnings for the valet who will be disappointed if you park in the nearby covered parking for the town. One imagines that is where the valet parks your vehicle (free at weekends). "

"The only downside was situational, snow plow coming past the 1st floor room at midnight and 1am. "

"Check in gentleman was friendly and offered suggestions on places to eat & visit. The hotel is older and could use a little TLC but personally I love the charm and character of older places. The bed definitely needs a new mattress. Complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby, and nice fireplace to sit by and watch TV or have a conversation. There was a Japanese exhibition in their conference room that was quite interesting and informative."

"Checkin was easy, bed was comfortable, breakfast had a few options. I had a room at the end of the property so it was quiet. There was a spider in my room but they don't bother me so it really wasn't a big deal, but I know some people fear them so for others it might have been an issue."

"The breakfast and staff were AMAZING! Freshly made scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, french toast, waffles, Cabot yogurt with all the fixings, dry cereal, hot oatmeal, breads, muffins, danish, etc. Everything was delicious and well presented as well! Forgot to mention freshly gound coffee! YUM! KUDOS!"
