MY STAY AT THE HILLTOP INN

I had been in the middle of relocating and unfortunately recuperating from a stay in the hospital. This staff made me feel welcome, safe, and gave me all the assistance i could have hoped for. This hotel is run professionally, clean, and within reason, provides everything you might need.

Very nice

We only really stayed for two days. The room was not the best room but you get what you pay for and that’s fine. The woman at the counter however was amazing great service very friendly overall a it was a joy talking to her

Motel is a barebones and rough around the edges option for a very very low rate. That being said, the staff make the experience very inviting and try to accomdate you as much as possible. My situation required me to have a microwave and fridge in my room (pre-reserved). Upon showing up, a room wasnt ready with those ameneties, but the staff kindly upgraded the room to a full California King Suite to accomdate my needs with no additional charge. For a cheap lower end room reservation, I would book a room here again. Property has free self parking and morning coffee in the lobby.

Right by the freeway, gas station in walking distance, quiet and 20 minutes from downtown, nothing fancy but great option if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room for a fair price, I would stay again next time.

Rooms were not clean. Check in was difficult because the door was locked and we had to wait outside in the cold till the lady heard us and opened the door. She was not very welcoming. The staff at the checkout time were nice though.

For the price, it was everything I needed. It was clean, had parking, close to the highway, and even had a fridge and microwave in the room, plus an ice maker in the laundry lobby.

I’d never book that again.

The room was super dirty. Luckily I had cleaning supplies in my car. I wiped down counters and it was filthy. Billy’s of food stuck to the walls. And it smelled bad. Bed sheets were clean…

The room is old, but comfortable. Pillows are very small, but bed is good. Parking lot is full of potholes. I’m glad the hotel is next to a nice convenience store. Check in was quick and the person was very accommodating.

I like the service is excellent. I dnt remember the names but the Lady and the Guy who owns it they are fantastic people.. lady is very helpful. No light near mirror. It was not clean near the curtains it was very dirt and dusty.

You get what you pay for….

The front desk employees were very friendly and attentive. However, the property was disgusting. There were feces in the wall in the bathroom, and a joke punched in the bathroom door. I refuse to shower because the shower was nasty, the carpet and floor were sticky, and there were cut zip ties on the floor near the bed? I don’t even want to know. It was cheap for a reason, however there should be cleaning standards in place.

The people are great. The check in process was easy. I had to put 100$ deposit down for "damages" which I'm not sure you could possible damage it any more than it is. The air conditioning did not work, it was blowing hot air. When I went to fix it all the knobs were broken off. The tv did not work. When i checked the remotes, the batteries were missing from one of them. There was someone's underwear behind the dresser when I went to plug in my phone and most of the outlets didn't work. For one night, I wouldn't do it again.

Do NOT stay here unless you have no other option. We walked in to a non smoking room to a lovely smell of weed. Followed by the greeting of 3 stink bugs around the room. The room looks to maybe have been wiped with a dry rag and MAYBE vacuumed. The back of the building has very VERY limited lighting. The property looks nothing like the pictures. The room looks to be original from when built and not refurbished in the past 30 years. Not to mention that absolutely outrageous neighbors.

The property was close to the highway. Upon entering the non-smoking room, we were hit with the smell of weed, stale cigarette smoke,and mold. The room had a window a/c foamed in and a rolling space heater. The carpet was stained. The bathtub had seen better days- the caulking was mildewed. The secure lock on the door was missing, all it had was the keycard lock. Plus side, the bed comfy and no bugs. The fridge was cold.

Don't do it!

Pulled up and the manager was on her cell phone. Assuming her bf was with her And was cussing up a storm. Get in room bathroom is filthy and the heater did worker. Told the worker, she never got off her cell phone while checking every plug to make sure heater wasn't working for real. Of course we checked every plug, she did get us a new heater however still didn't get off the phone the whole time. Thankfully we only needed a place to sleep for a few hours. Can't checkout until 8 because they're closed which sucks, especially if on a time crunch. The bed however we're very comfortable.

for this type of motel it felt safe and quiet and relatively clean. The staff were friendly. The driveway is full of potholes which is annoying. they had trouble programming my key card and it failed me at night when they have nobody immediately on site. However they did come by within 5 minutes when I called. Biggest drawback is that the internet doesn’t work at all, theoretically it exists but none of my devices could connect reliably to it, and when connected they couldn’t access anything. The woman at the desk just said “yeah the internet sucks” i think they shouldn’t even really advertise they have internet.

You will have an additional hold put on your card for a security deposit, its returned after you check out witj no damages, but it wasnt anywhere on expedia while booking so i just wanted to share. The staff were so kind and helpful. The place is a little outdted and could use some maintenance, but for the price it was a good stay. Also very clean, they might not update peeling paint but the place was spotless clean.
