"Internet was good, lived the smart tv access, aircon didn't work but wasn't a major issue, there is a huge shell petrol station that has a waitrose inside, also a subway and a coffee shop on the same complex, overall hotel is decent and fit for purpose it's modern and clean, if you want luxury go else where, if you just want a cheap clean no frill stay this is the place I'd give it a solid 7.5 out of 10. "

"Stayed for one night as was attending a meeting with a late finish. Check-in was simple and professional. The room was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with lovely toiletries supplied. More than enough coat hangers and wardrobe space for my needs. But it’s the staff that I really wanted to talk about…. As I said, I was attending a meeting at the hotel which didn’t finish until well after 9pm. I hadn’t been able to have anything to eat for prior to the meeting, so...

"The pool was quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. We used the sausa, steam room and the jacuzzi. The staff were hard working and amazing. Just like to say a big thank you to Raul, and Esha in the restaurant who made our dining experience very enjoyable and Chris in the bar who kept us entertained with him good humour and quick wit. "Rummet var av relativt enkel standard, men rent och hade sköna sängar. Hörde ingen trafik, eller andra störande ljud. Den hade allt, förutom en toalettborste. Frukosten var bra. Man fick beställa den varma maten, vilket gör att den inte står i rumstemperatur. Det tog ca 10-15 minuter att få maten serverad och då var vi där under en helg med mycket folk. Medans fixade vi kaffe, rostade mackor och åt av den kontinentala buffén. Trevlig personal också, så vi kan absolut tänka oss att bo här igen...

"This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District."
