"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout...

"We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret. We dined at Martha’s and after a really busy day, loved the easy going nature of this restaurant. We also had the 7 course degustation menu at Hardys Veranda another night. "Poorly managed property - they'll be in touch like clockwork to get your security deposit payment then don't deliver details of how to pickup keys come check-in time. After a few call attempts they blamed it on the cleaner "forgetting" to put the key in the lock box. We were greeted with dirty dishes from the last guest and our request for a 3rd bed not fulfilled. They told me that I forgot to put that request into them... funny considering I have it clearly noted on their confirmation email...

"Do not stay here. I didn’t in the end. After arriving at 5:45pm to a hoarded up entry and no reception I called the number on the door to check in. The receptionist advised no one was on site and I would have to pay my bond of $200 by credit card, which would incur a $6 processing fee (!!?!). I told them I would absolutely not pay the fee, and after quite a bit of back and forth they relented, instead saying if there was any damage to the room following inspection at checkout then I would have...

"Tell people when they book that it's a work site with jackhammers and that basic amenities are out of order the actual apartment was beautiful but getting in and out was a pain and you knew I was in a wheelchair but your workmen blocked the wheelchair access and laughed at my difficulties "

" Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified."

"Quiet being next to a main road. Close walk to Burnside upgraded, renovated large shopping complex. Has many high profile new shops eg Tiffany, Zara, Country Road, Lorna Jane and many more plus Coles and few Coffee/eating areas. Free, large underground car parking 🅿️. The property Granada, has many kitchen items, crockery, cutlery, microwave and free car parks near your room. Staff helpful and assistance as required. Nil negatives. Thankyou"

"Arkaba Hotel, my partner loves this hotel, his stayed over 50x for business, great for a man that only has to go into the bar and order his meal, and has the room upstairs, he loves the area and the place, staff are great to him that know him, rooms are good. meals are great atmosphere he loves sitting in the sports bar to have dinner and watch the golf or footy."

"Really enjoyed the property, room and surrounding area. Only problem was that we did not receive any instructions on getting into our room and had to ring the staff for access. Other than that, perfect, would stay there again!"

"Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend."
