"My little weekend getaway was made perfect because i have picked to stay in this little coastal gem. The staff was very friendly, and they keep this motel clean. It cannot be compared to big chain hotels because this building is older and it shows wear of typical property battered by coastal weather. What makes it much better is the feel of home away from home. Our room had everything we needed - microwave, coffee maker, TV, refrigerator, comfortable bed and shower with surprisingly strong water...
"We were delighted with our stay at the Fireside. Loved sitting on our couch facing the ocean, listening to surf crashing during the night, and being close to the 804 trail for a nice walk along the beach. Our room was clean and spacious, and we were even able to pick out a free movie in the lobby to watch."
"The sauna wasn’t very hot. Didn’t even sweat after 10 minutes.
I am a frequent sauna user, and was excited the property had one. Unfortunately, it wasn’t working and the gym only being open from 8-10 was not anticipated.
