"I wanted to check in fast and visit an important attraction before they closed. The reception lady indicated that by law she had to check us in right away and show us the room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the lobby and check in after and she said, "If I did that she could not grantee she could check us in." because she would be too busy. I was thinking that she had no choice in the matter to do so and if I had arrived at 8pm she would have to check me in if she liked it or not. ??"

"Amazing hotel clean, fresh, rooms are lovely, nice size and complementary tea and coffee and mini fridge stocked, Jan the owner was lovely very welcoming, car parking is limited on site but that didn’t bother us we parked in a side street near the hotel, lovely location, shop few steps away, Carbis bay hotel and beach literally 5/10 minutes walk but mind the hill on the way back up, you can drive down but parking can be expensive for the day and limited spaces. Definitely return."

"Exceptional hospitality and stay! One of the best B&Bs ever! Very clean, comfy bed, soft linen..loved the large shower in our room and the sea view! Great location with a short walk to the beach and the train station. Martin & Margaret's hospitality and welcome made our stay even more special! The house and gardens are beautiful and so well kept and maintained! We will definitely be visiting again! "
