The Killing Fields Memorial is located outside of the Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia. This site marks just one of hundreds of sites across the country where mass genocide of follow Cambodians took place during their civil war. The structure in the picture, houses the skeletal remains of thousands of people killed at this location. The area is a reminder of how cruel mankind can be to each other. It is also a place to learn how kindness and compassion can be a gift we give to each other daily.
