"Wonderful stay! They even called to make sure we were checking in/made special arrangements for us to arrive late. Excellent location. Just be mindful you probably won’t have cell signal—but the WiFi works so well I hardly noticed I didn’t have reception. Would definitely stay here again!"

The bathroom needed some work: hole in the wall, outlets that didn’t work, countertop that was not fully wiped to get rid of soap rings, some regrouping needed, faucet for sink difficult to get “medium” flow, no drain stopper. But I will say that the water pressure for the shower was the best I’ve ever experienced. It could almost knock you over! We were directed to go to Entrance 1 for our room but markings on awning were faded and you couldn’t...

"I stay in about 20 hotel rooms a year. This room was outstanding. Great beds, staff attentive yet not intrusive, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was good. I generally don't use things like pools, etc., and I did not on this trip. I usually stay Best Westerns, but this property has got me thinking about joining the IHG points plan."

"Did you ever want to experience what it would be like to stay at a bed in breakfast? Well this is the place to go! So quaint and cute! Located right in the heart of the town of Montgomery. Plenty of things to walk to and see in the area. Brianna the manager was wonderful. Very helpful and informative. The breakfast choices were delicious. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"Room was booked to sleep four: queen bed and pull out sofa. But the sofa only slept one (small person). Staff was kind enough to get us a cot for the 4th person. The original sheets on the pull out sofa were ripped and stained. Staff were again helpful and hot new linens. We had to shuffle the sofa a bit to fit the cot in. Then I noticed trash/rubbish that had been missed during cleaning. Staff were by far the best part of the stay. And not every hotel can be shiny and new. But...

"Breakfast was excellent for a continental breakfast. Surrounding area was beautiful. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. History of the area is beyond fantastic. Where they lack is in sharing where to go to experience the incredible American history that the area affords - there should be material at the front and in every room sharing the history of the area and the incredible state and federal museums to explore! Do your research... Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!! "

"Very disappointing experience. My daughter almost slipped into the pool because the railing was loose, creating a serious safety hazard. We brought this to the hotel’s attention, but no refund or compensation was offered. There was also very limited seating by the pool, the hallways had a strong odor, and the location did not feel safe. Due to these concerns, we chose not to stay and left the property. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Pleasantly surprising room after a very off-putting lobby. NO ELEVATOR, which could be an issue to some! Lobby and hallways are pretty gross, but the rooms are clean and well-maintained. Staff was really rude, but I honestly didn't really care. AC was working, parking was easy. Bed was really comfortable. Very good cheap option in the area if you just need a place to shower and sleep."

"Not all Hilton brands are equal.I'm used to Hilton Garden Inn. This Tru brand is more of an average Best Western. No coffee makers in room. Breakfasts were ho-hum to blahs especially scrambled eggs and meats. Staff kept TV in main lounge on Spanish speaking channels. This is in New Jersey. Obviously this was meant to entertain the staff, not the guests. Air conditioner was noisy. 1st room they put me in was a connecting room, where the loudly arguing couple on other side of door was unbearable....

"The pool not only didn’t have towels EVER… the lights are not on at night! It’s pitch black. When we asked for the lights to be turned on we were met with a nasty attitude from the staff. When we asked for towels for the pool they said to check the storage containers near the pool… the only thing in the container was spider webs and nasty other bugs! It’s a good thing no one hurt themselves in the dark parking lot pool!"
