Hotel was great, 30 years ago. Rooms are outdated. Hotel Staff was great, adjoining bar/resturant, some of staff was rude and didn’t seem like they were happy there. Location was great and surrounding atmosphere was good. I would stay there again if they would update it.

Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa
Easy to access from the airport. Near Maho Beach for plane sightings. Beach access. Smaller Resort made it easy to get to restaurants and pool/beach and back to the room. Rooms were ok. Decent views from “Island view” rooms. Food was consistent and comparable to cruise ship style food. Good for kids ...

The room was very clean, as was the resort. The staff went above and beyond and everyone was very friendly. The spa service I received was amazing. The reason for the less the superior / excellent was because of the location
