My teen daughter and I stayed here for one night while traveling around PA, NJ and NY. This place is so cute. When we first got here we were greeted and given a quick tour including some history about the house and how it came to be a hotel. The room was very well appointed with a full, updated bathroom. A “continental breakfast” was included which consisted of coffee, juice and fresh fruit, cereal, homemade muffins and coffee cake.
The hotel is with 5 minutes walking distance to Independence Hall, and a 20 minute walk to Reading Terminal. Lots of great places to eat around within walking distance. While the hotel offered a discount for overnight parking at a garage across the street, it was still over $32 for one night.
All in all I would highly recommend this cute little place as an alternative to the larger (and more expensive) hotels.
