"Room was clean but very dated with many signs of wear - rust on the shower and towel heater, mould around the silicon on the sink . Old fashioned alarm clock which was so bright and unable to turn off was annonying and had to be covered with a towel. The shared areas and outside also feel dated and showed main signs of wear. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was Ok."

"The greatest feature of this establishment are the hosts, Pablo and John. Apart from a great location, ten minutes walk from the town centre, the house is impeccable. The garden is a delight, and nothing, absolutely nothing, is too much trouble for the hosts, to ensure that you leave very reluctantly……"

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. When you entered, the first thing that greets you is the fresh smell. Everything was so clean. Greeted by a staff member who spoke like he was in the ritz hotel. Old fashioned customer service. Wonderful! Room was clean, even the toiletries in the bathroom were good quality. Restaurants nearby. So pleased that we found this gem! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

"We were given a room with twin beds and when we asked for that to be changed it couldn't be despite that being our booking. The beds were horrifically uncomfortable and I could feel the springs in the mattress. We didn't opt for breakfast at 13 GBP each and instead had a fantastic breakfast a few doors down for 7GBP for both of us! THe location is good and it is dog friendly (we didn't have a dog with us) and seemed well set up for that."

"Room 12, Single Room, Private Room, No Hot Water for Shower, parts of floorboard in bathroom missing and bottom panel of shower detached from shower tray. Carpet in Bedroom dirty and bitty. Bed mattress lopsided, bed uncomfortable. I understand it was cheap but you expect it to be clean and have basic functions."
