"Incredible home away from home for myself and my partner. Staff was absolutely amazing and so kind. Food was delicious and there were other walkable dining options in a nearby town. Quiet and nestled among the mountains and olive groves but also very close to the beach and Lake Kourna. What a beautiful gem of a place!! "

"It was an amazing stay. We checked in late, after midnight, and check in was smooth. The rooms are beautiful and we got balcony at the first floor. The sea view was good. Communication with the owner was very good and he was there on call as and when required. There is restaurant near the beach and for the hotel guests, one umbrella and two chairs were free. this was an excellant perk. "This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "Had an amazing stay here over the last 5 nights, whole Property was immaculate and you can see the care the family put into running it. Great location only 5 minute walk from town centre and 5/10 to The beach. Plenty of tavernas and shops close by again within 5/10 minutes. "One of the favorite places we have ever stayed in! The place is beautifully restored and you feel like you are really staying in a historic place. We stayed in a room that had ample space and enjoyed staying in. There is a lovely balcony with a hot tub. There were two friendly cats that hung out with us on the balcony. The location was wonderful with being close to where we could park and still being in Old Town. "
